Water delivery mostly is used when one has a bottled water cooler.  This is mostly a service given to companies that rent the bottled water coolers for the office or workplace.  There is an advantage to having water cooler in the office as one saves a tremendous amount on money on having to keep buying drinking water.  Some will just say: ’Why not use the tap to drink from?, but that is not the healthiest option.

One can have a water cooler in one’s office but not realize that when it’s a bottled water cooler, one will need to keep buying new bottles or get this water delivery and this will add up after a while. The best thing to do is to get the plumbed water cooler.  The advantage is that your water supply is unlimited and that it saves money, needing water delivery is not a good option if one of the reasons one has a water cooler is to save money.  So quit the water delivery and get a plumbed water cooler instead.

Water delivery is mostly in conjunction with water coolers.  I’m not sure that one can get normal bottles of water delivered at one’s home and there are companies that just do that.  But I might be wrong.  The problem with having bottled water is exactly that delivery.  Lots of things could happen on deliveries, such as traffic, etc… these might interfere and then one’s delivery of water doesn’t come in time.  In a bigger company that might pose a problem, so personally I don’t think that water delivery is such a great idea.

Having a bottled water cooler at home might be fine as one wouldn’t need that big a supply of water all the time and could get away with getting a few bottles a week.  That would last one long enough for a week or two depending on the size of one’s family.  In a company it is however handier to have a water delivery system, as one doesn’t then have to worry about running out of water supply.  One could just get a plumbed water cooler and never need to worry about getting a water delivery.
